JACKS
Shooting across the floor
Snapped from a child's fingers
Flashes of brilliant color
They jump and twirl and dance
Wobbling around in uncertain circles
Whirling and bobbing and hopping
Losing momentum as friction slows them
Then topple over dizzily.
