So today was my birthday. And though it was not like the traditional birthdays we usually do but thanks to my wonderful family and friends it was still very special! This morning Lizzy made Swedish Pancakes for breakfast, then Rachael, Sarah and I went into town, to go to a garage sale and do some other things, mom had counted out some quarters for gas and my birthday supper since dad was getting low so we went grocery shopping. Then Rachael brought me to Cold Stone, Sarah was having a bad day so she wasn't going to come in and Rachael wasn't going to have any but I convinced her that we could get a large (well I said a medium and she suggested large) and share it so we got Mint, French Vanilla and Coffee with Chocolate Chips in it and then sat the three of us in the front seat and shared it. It was fun and I'm sure I'll remember it for a long time! :) Then we went home and Sarah and I had a good chat in the kitchen while we made Lasagna and and chocolate cake for supper. She had made French Bread last night for a potluck and there were left overs, (by the way, Sarah's been cooking supper this week, and making bread, she's an excellent cook!!! ;)) So supper was amazing and Rachael got Chocolate Monster ice cream, it was really yummy!! :) So I had ice cream twice today. Then the Hendricksons came, they had been here since last night but left for the day to go to a funeral and came back around 8:00, they brought me a CD by Leslie Ludy, a sweet card and my favorite kind of candy, Reeses Peanut Butter cups!!!! :) I don't know how they knew it was my favorite Charlie said that he remembered when Lena (his daughter) had 'parties' with us we usually got that kind. Aaron was here in the evening after work for my birthday and every day that he's home makes my day! A few friends have sent cards in the last few days too. So I feel really special and I know I don't deserve all my wonderful friends and family! I feel so blessed!
