Photo Shoot in the Rain

Dear Grandma,

Too often, we don't tell the ones we love how much we love and appreciate them
while they're still here with us, so I'm going to tell you now 'cause nobody know's
 what tomorrow's gonna bring.
Mom's always said you're very gracious and hospitable. When I was younger, I didn't
quite understand what this meant, but last fall, when I was helping build your house, I
was staying for lunch and you already had several others, when one more of the crew
came in, I don't remember what he had with him, but you welcomed him in as if you
were expecting him, you quietly set an extra place for him and fed him. Grandma, I
admire your strong spirit, you're knowledge and grace, the way you've loved and respected
grandpa all these years, and I know it takes two to make the marriage, but I watch you
and even if you don't always agree, you always honor grandpa, if I ever get married
I want to follow your example.
Grandma, thanks for all the great memories too! Shopping with you and going
to garage sales, spending the night and all the little chats we've had, your wonderful orange salad
(it probably has a real name?) that you bring to the family get togethers, and the tea parties.
Grandma thanks for everything you've done for us grandchildren.
I love you!

Love,

Anna

Okay, well I've been wanting to post something on here, and I've sat down a couple times today trying to write something but the words wouldn't come, so I decided to briefly update you on my life the last little while.
Last weekend, my aunt and cousins, Emily and Katelyn came, Auntie stayed at Grandpa and Grandma's and Emily and Katelyn stayed with us. We had a blast! Saturday morning, Emily and auntie were going to a wedding and like twenty minutes before Emily had to go to grandma's to get ready, she called her mom and asked if I could come so I had jut a few minutes to shower and get ready, hardest part was deciding what to wear but Emily helped me with that. It was fun driving the two hours to International Fall with them. The wedding was nice  too.
Sunday, Emily and Katelyn came to church with us and we went to Dale Ropps' for lunch. They left Sunday evening.
Monday I ran errands with Rachael, Tuesday we gardened, we've got 2-1/2 LONG rows of strawberries and they've got quack grass in them so they take forever to pull... you get about 3-4 feet weeded in an hour or two. It's a big job! Wednesday I mowed grandpa and grandma's lawn and ours and cut up some rhubarb and froze it. Then we had small groups at our place. Today I caught up on laundry and tomorrow I think, my cousins are coming for the weekend and both my parents have nephews graduating on Sunday... so life's busy in a way, but when I slow down enough to look back... I don't remember why I thought it was so busy. :) Busy or not, I'm enjoying life! :) But this supposed to be brief update is getting long and boring... and dad want the computers shut down, so I'll close and try to make sure the next posts not so boring :)

Life

This is a post I put on Xanga a while back, I haven't really had time to do another 'real' photo blog. I'm hoping to again soon though... I was going to put something else on here, like a poem I wrote or something, but the words didn't want to come, and the 'poetry' I already have is rather morbid, so this will have to do for now.

Live like tomorrows the last day of your life!
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. - Dr. Seuss
Nobody knows what tomorrow holds, never take for granted the time you have with the ones you love.
Even if it seems eternally grey, tomorrow will surely bring the sunshine.
The golden moments in the stream of life rush past us and we see nothing but sand; the angels come to visit us, and we only know them when they are gone.  ~George Elliot

There's something good and beautiful in everyone if we just take the time to look.
Pretty pretty please, don't you ever ever feel, like you're less than, less than perfect to me! - Pink
Friends are the laughter in life.
Everyone needs someone they can share everything with!
Life is too short to have regrets.

Dear Grandpa,
Thank you for your example and everything you've taught me.
I've got so many great memories of spending time with you,
all the fishing trips, canoeing, playing dominoes, helping with
your projects. You always encouraged me to do better and
I never felt like a failure even if I didn't get it the first time.
Thank you for the time and prayers you have invested in
my life!
You always have time and make everyone feel special
I don't know how you do it, but you always make everyone
feel loved!
Now it's hard to watch you slowly slipping away, you're
going to be missed terribly when you're gone! But someday
I'll see you again in heaven where we never have to say good-bye.
I love you Grandpa!
Love,
Anna

You Love Me Anyway

Wow this is amazing... He loves us no matter what!
I am the nail in Your wrist, But You love me anyway, I am Judas' kiss, But You love me anyway.
Every day I realize more and more how much God loves me, no matter what, he obviously created me and anything God creates is perfect... God doesn't make mistakes and everything happens for a purpose!
This song puts it so well... You love me anyway!

You Love Me Anyway

The question was raised
As my conscience fell

A silly little lie

It didn't mean much
But it lingers still
In the corners of my mind

Still you call me to walk
On the edge of this world
To spread my dreams and fly

But the future's so far
My heart is so frail
I think I'd rather stay inside

But You love me anyway
It's like nothing in life
That I've ever known
Yes You love me anyway
Oh Lord, how You love me
How you love me

It took all of my strength
To simply be still
To seek but never find

The reasons we change
The reasons I doubt
And Why do loved ones have to die?

But You love me anyway
It's like nothing in life
That I've ever known
Yes You love me anyway
Oh Lord, how You love me

I am the thorn in your crown
But You love me anyway
I am the sweat from Your brow
But You love me anyway
I am the nail in Your wrist
But You love me anyway
I am Judas' kiss
But You love me anyway
See now I am the man who yelled out from the crowd
For Your blood to be spilled on this earth shaking ground
Yes then I turned away with a smile on my face
With this sin in my heart, tried to bury Your grace
And then alone in the night I still call out for You
So ashamed of my life, my life, my life

But You love me anyway
Oh God, how You love me
Yes You love me anyway
It's like nothing in life
That I've ever known
Yes You love me anyway
Oh Lord, how You love me

Ant video

I was taking pictures of the flower beds and I saw this ant dragging a dead grub across the cement. I thought it was pretty cool.

Photography - After the Rain

It's been rainy the last few days, it's finally let up some today. After lunch this afternoon I decided to take a 'photography walk' the pictures aren't exactly professional but I enjoyed myself.
